Mission: Wheeler clinic, inc. Fosters positive change in the lives of individuals and families, as well as in communities. We provide cutting-edge human services that address a diverse range of needs and backgrounds, enhance strengths and provide the supports that encourage recovery from challenges for a satisfying life in the community.

Programs: Children's educational services - include academic and clinical supports for children and adolescents with serious behavior challenges who are referred by public schools from 50 towns.

adult services - provides a broad range of intervention, recovery and recidivism reduction programs for individuals involved with justice system, as well as behavioral health supports for the community. These services are provided in facilities in bristol, hartford, middletown, meriden, new britain, plainville and waterbury as well as in state facilities.

children's outpatient and community based services - provides a continuum of crisis, outpatient, day treatment and intensive in-home programs and services for children and families involved with the departments of children and families and developmental services as well as youth involved in the juvenile courts. Services are provided in clinic facilities in bristol, hartford, middletown, new haven, plainville and waterbury as well as in homes, schools and communities in all or part of hartford, fairfield, litchfield, middlesex, new haven and tolland counties.

children's residential services - provides home-like environment for children with behavioral health challenges and children who have been removed from their home due to abuse or neglect. Early childhood services include state and federally funded programs that support young children, parents/caregivers and early childhood educators in homes schools and communities. Expenses $7,113,565 including grants of $112,577 revenue $280,931community based family services - provide family strengthening, intensive in-home, therapeutic foster care, and juvenile risk reduction intervention services to children and families involved in child welfare and juvenile justice systems. The department also includes an innovative primary care/behavioral health integration program, and practice innovation projects initiatives. Services are provided in hartford, new britain, plainville and waterbury as well as in community settings throughout the greater hartford, new britain/bristol and waterbury communities. Expenses $7,709,946 including grants of $521,467 revenue $96,791connecticut center for prevention, wellness and recovery - is the state's most comprehensive resource for behavioral health information and a leading provider of professional training and development opportunities, and prevention and health promotion services statewide. The department includes the wheeler employee assistance program. Expenses $2,227,194 including grants of $172,385 revenue $475,723health & wellness - offers an array of behavioral and medical health care services to individuals and families from bristol and surrounding towns.
