Mission: Founded by five churches in The Glendale Ecumenical Parish as a small, volunteer food bank in 1973, Westside Food Bank has become the largest food bank in Arizona, distributing over 32 million pounds of food to Arizona's needy in 2000. Utilizing the talents of over 4,000 volunteers, Westside Food Bank is able to provide unrivaled, first-class service to hungry people at a sensible cost.
