Westport Arts Center

Programs: Visual arts - wac programs deliver both the best of the global arts community and the artistic highlights of our region. We curate world-class exhibitions, provide opportunities to engage with arts and artists, and create a home base for local artists to meet and showcase their work with the westport artists' collective pop up shows. Entrance to our gallery and exhibits is free and open to the public. Membership to the westport arts center is offered to individuals, families and sponsors.

performing arts - our ten chamber and jazz music concerts each year feature both internationally renowned talent and local rising performers. Concert attendees experience exceptional performances in an intimate, up-close-and-personal setting. The diverse schedule of concerts is curated by experts in chamber and jazz music. A portion of program expenses is paid for through foundation grants.

education & outreach - our education program includes classes for youth, teens and adults and provides opportunities to learn and be inspired by the arts-for all ages and all skill levels. Offerings include summuer camp, after school classes, vacation day classes and weekend workshops. Corporate sponsorships play a crucial role in the development and execution of programming. Our two outreach programs create an avenue for fun, creativity and relaxation. The connections programs are offered for underserved, urban youth in surrounding communities. Wac gives back is offered to unique populations including cancer patients and their caregivers, veterans who are homeless, senior citizens and children with special needs. These programs are made possible by donors and foundations.
