Mission: Science, tech, engr, math (stem) education for k-12 students through annual calgames robotics competition and multiple robotics workshops.
Programs: 2016 calgames october 7-8, site provided by fremont high school in sunnyvale. 36 hs robotics teams competed 2-days. (2500 viewers & participants)
storage rental: supports all wrrf events (calgames and workshops). Storage pod (carpet, electronics, wood field, event support items, etc. ). (insurance paid in next fiscal year)
workshop registration covers expenses, principally food, with excess towards general expenses (274 students/mentors). Workshops: 12/17/2016 (114 attendees); 8/30/2017 (160 attendees): programming, control systems, cad, robot sub-systems, electronics, motors, outreach, entrepreneurship, decision-making, pid control, pneumatics, team-building and more.
