The West Michigan Youth Ballet is dedicated to providing full-length ballet performance opportunities to young dancers ages 8-18. Our dancers come from dance studios of the Greater Grand Rapids area, to rehearse on Sunday afternoons for two shows a year: The Nutcracker in December and spring ballet in March. This year's show will be The Tales of Beatrix Potter. Some of the other spring shows were Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland. All rehearsals are held at the WMYB studio on 6086 E. Fulton in Ada, MI. The WMYB is a 501 (c) (3). The WMYB depends on donations to cover the enormous expenses of staging these huge productions. For more information, visit their website at WMYB.org.
