Causes: Microfinance, Small Business Development
Mission: To facilitate the establishment of significant and long-term business, civic, and cultural relationships between the west michigan region and the kingdom of the netherlands; building on the longstanding historic cultural ties between the two communities.
Programs: Annual gala to celebrate and foster culture between west michigan and the netherlands. With elite sponsors and speakers, the gala provided guests a platform for ideas and a forum to transform fellowship into partnership. The 2014 gala was held on october 8 and included 387 guests.
the speaker series, held october 6 through 8, 2014 with 45 attendees, featured luncheon lectures from esteemed experts, offering insight on business, public policy, and cultural issues. The purpose was to enhance the profile of the west michigan region by bringing together notable dignitaries and community leaders, while providing an important forum to forge better business relationships. The 2014 speaker series included a dutch delegation in life sciences, medical device manufacturing, agriculture, and healthy living.
