Causes: Arts & Culture, Symphony Orchestras
Mission: West hartford symphony orchestra serves as a community orchestra, primarily for the benefit of the residents of west hartford, ct providing opportunity for local amateur musicians to rehearse and perform before a community audience.
Programs: Musical performances and rehearsals. About 60 musicians participate, nearly all amateurs, joined by several professionals. Four concerts are given before audiences totaling about 2,200 patrons, with rehearsals before each concert.
