Mission: Promote and support youth basketball in de pere, wisconsin.
Programs: The west de pere youth organization is an outstanding, non-profit, athletic organization providing a high quality experience for all youth who show dedication to the program. The organization focuses on developing strong basketball skills and knowledge of the game and emphasizes the importance of teamwork, building self-confidence and promoting good sportsmanship. During the year there were 246 youths who participated in the program through skills clinics and camps. The organization hosts 2 tournaments per year for grades 3 through 8 with up to 96 teams participating. Our volunteers include about 25 to 30 coaches for the clinics, 20 to 30 high school players who help out at the clinics, and 75 to 100 parents, high school players and coaches helping out at tournaments with scoring, concessions, admissions, cleaning, etc.
