Causes: Basketball, Sports
Mission: To provide every boy, from grades 1-12 in the wayzata school district, an opportunity to play basketball at a level that matches their skills and desire. The wbba values: - respect for self and others - individual skill development - positive growth experience for players - team success - not measured only by wins
Programs: Travel - the wbba travel program provides an opportunity for boys in grades 4-9 that wish to excel and compete at the highest level. During the year, travel had 176 participants.
southwest - the southwest basketball program provides an opportunity for boys in grades 6-12 to participate in a recreational league with teams from other local programs (hopkins, minnetonka, eden prairie). The eden prairie boys basketball association (epbba) sponsors the southwest 6-8 program. During the year, soutwest had 353 participants.
summer camp - basic boys basketball skills camp for the basketball enthusiast in grades 1 through 8.
in-house - the wbba house league provides an opportunity for boys inkindergarten through 5th grade to improve their basketball skills andparticipate in team leagues and clinics. In-house had 394 participants. (expenses - $26,494; revenues - $48,605) clinics & training - various clinics & training held for boys basketballenthusiasts throughout the year. (expenses - $2,766; revenues - $23,856)
