Mission: Provide strong physician leadership and advocacy to shape the future of medicine and advance quality care in washington state.
Programs: Medical practice issues: the wsma offers educational programs and online resources on building essential practice operational skills for all members. Wsma also assists members in addressing unresolved claims with health plans.
advocacy: wsma represents its 10,000 physician members before the legislature and state agencies, health plans, the media and general public. The wsma is actively involved in working to improve access to care in communities throughout washington state.
communications: wsma's monthly publications inform physicians about the emerging performance, cost and quality measurements that are becoming integral to health care. The wsma also provides brochures on a variety of public health issues to all members.
