Mission: The warnecke institute, inc. (the institute) was formed to promote an environment and provide a facility to foster the education and advancement of artists.
Programs: The chalk hill artists residency program provides artists with live and work space on the warnecke ranch & vineyard located in sonoma county, california. The institute has dedicated community partnerships with local artists, art galleries, museums, and other non-profit art organizations. The institute in partnership with the following agencies, work to promote the artists participating in the program: becoming independent artworks, nami sonoma county, sonoma county department of health services, and the wellness and advocacy center. Chalk hill artist residency encourages high-quality, creative output in all media for abled and disabled artists alike. Using the natural setting in northern california as the catlyst for exchange and interaction between artists and the cultural community, chalk hill creates synergies that expand artistic horizons and opportunities.
