Mission: Form 990-ez, part iii, line 28, program service accomplishments:emergency rent and utilities assistance are provided when funds are available to those who are eligible to receive food from the food pantry. Wscr desires to build relationships with clients to help them achieve self-sufficiency by remaining in their homes with utilities working. Funds to make payments were received from local nonprofit groups and various churches and individuals. Form 990-ez, part iii, line 29, program service accomplishments:the food pantry serves families with bags of non-perishable food and frozen meats when available from second harvest food bank, personal hygiene products, and items for babies and individuals in need as defined by the federal government eligibility for food stamps. Food is purchased from second harvest food bank and money is donated by individuals and churches to purchase food. Seasonally, indiviudals and churches with gardens generously donate fresh vegetables.
