Mission: Goodwill industries is a nonprofit provider of employment and other critical community based services for people who have a disability, people who lack educaiton or job experience, households facing economic challenges, and others in need.
Programs: Donated goods and retail program services: goodwill utilizes its donated goods program and retail stores to provide on-the-job training to people with disabilities, people with disadvantes and others having a difficult time findig a employment. Goodwill accepts clothing and other household donated goods from the public and sells these donations in goodwill community-based reatil stores. Revenue from the sale of these goods goes directly toward supporting and growing critical community-based programs. Goodwill provided 169 employment opportunites with this program.
recycling services program: goodwill creates employment and job-training opportunities for people who have disabilities or other challenges to employment by providing a free drop off recycling center. The recycling center offers opportunities in a variety of work experience and training environments; such as document destruction, recycling, sorting, operation of equipment and material handling. Goodwill provided 14 employment opportunites with this program.
e scrap program: e scrap program is a program in partnership with dell computers to recycle computer equipment. 130,236 lbs were recycled in 2017. Goodwill provided 2 employment opportunites with this program. 527 individuals utilized self guided computer lab.
