Mission: Vistamar school empowers students, preparing them to contribute and excel in higher education and in life, and commits to a broad and balanced program that challenges and engages students, building their individual skills and inspiring a passion for learning.
Programs: The school is an independent, co-educational, non-denominational college preparatory day school for grades 9 through 12 and has an academic program, art program, athletics program, information literacy and learning resources program, and global education program. Vistamar served approximately 275 students for the year ended june 30, 2017. Vistamar's globally influenced curriculum and distinctly diverse learning community foster in its students intellectual engagement and a mature understanding of the world. Every day, the faculty inspires students to think critically, find connections between themselves and others, and collaborate as global citizens. We do this because we understand that academically prepared, culturally competent students are not only highly attractive to the best colleges, but more importantly, will go on to lead lives of meaning and purpose.
