Mission: Vcf exists to be a catalyst for building and maximizing individual, foundation and government support for vincentian collaborative system and its member ministries to the betterment of those served by the system. We do so by:1. Building a system-wide development program based on current best-practices, thereby providing an infra-structure capable of supporting current and future campaigns. 2. Developing comprehensive strategies and programs for building lifetime donor relationships. 3. Preserving the purchasing power of gifts and providing a major source of consistent, ongoing support to vcs and its member ministries. 4. Administering these resources for the benefit of vcs and its member ministries in a way that inspires trust and commitment from donors.
Programs: Vincentian charitable foundation is the philanthropic arm of vincentian collaborative system and its member ministries. In keeping with our charitable purpose, the member ministries serve persons of all religious backgrounds and income levels resulting in the provision of approximately $6. 58 million in benevolent care during fy 2015. The foundation exists to provide financial support for that benevolent care, as well as program enhancements and capital improvements across the system. We do so through a balanced development program that seeks to connect charitably minded individuals with appropriate needs. This is done through a comprehensive program of communications and development efforts including individual gifts, grants and planned gifts. During fy 2015 the foundation received gifts and commitments for gifts totaling $792,597.
