Mission: Provide financial and fundraising assistance to the vigilant hose vfd in order for the volunteer fire dept to carry on its exempt purpose of providing emergency fire and rescue service to the citizens of emmitsburg and the surrounding areas.
Programs: The ladies axiliary donated 40,000 to the vigilant hose co. In 2017 toward the reduction of debt owed on the new construction of the fire hall completed in 2008, for the members of the vigilant hose fire co. And related ladies auxiliary.
