Mission: Vietnow was a national veterans organization that :1. Helped veterans to assit other veterans2. Helped increase community awareness of the difficulties encountered by the veteran and their families3. Increased national awareness of the pow/mia status in supporting other organizations involved in the effort of accountability and release of veterans4. Preserved the integrity of vietnow national headquarters and to better serve the veteran. 5. Helped assist in solving the unique physical, social, and psychological difficulties of the veteran. These difficulties include, but are not limited to:a. Delayed stress of readjustement difficulitiesb. Agent orange. C. Unemploymentd. Substance abusee. Family and community services
Programs: Assisted veterans in ways that helped solve the unique physical, social, and psychological difficulties of being a veteran. Theoe difficulties included, but were not limited to coping with ptsd, delayed stress of readjustement difficulities, unemployment, substance abuse and family and community services.
homeless - several hundred homeless persons were provided meals on a weekly basis,.
scholarships - provided college scholarships to dependents of vietnam and post vietnam era veterans.

To many people rely on the BBB. The BBB is a FOR PROFIT organization, the fees to register with them are outragous. So before you call the BBB you should check on how much they charge the charity to say that they are registered.

This may not be a reputable organization. Bristol Marketing called us years ago and we refused to make a pledge. They sent us a pledge form anyway. They called again and told my Husband we gave last year and asked for a renewal. He agreed thinking it was another Vietnam Vet organization we give to every year.
The BBB has requested information from them and they have declined to file any reports.
I would research ViewNow more thoroughly before contributing to this organization.
