Mission: Vermont recovery network, inc. Serves as the "umbrella organization of the 11 turning point recovery centers in vermont.
Programs: In september 2013, vermont recovery network was awarded a 3 year samhsa grant to fund the pathways to recovery project. The purpose of the program is to provide support for vermonters in opiate treatment and/or seeking help in maintaining recovery. Along with a project director and an administrator, eleven 1/2 time pathway guides provide peer support and work with vermont's hub and spoke system treating individuals in medication assisted treatment. Pathway guides collect data on participants, facilitate mat specific recovery groups, offer peer-to-peer support, and are available to help with transition to abstinence based recovery by introducing individuals to the peer-to-peer recovery communities who use this approach. Note: samhsa grant funding ended 9/30/2016. The pathway guides program is currently being funded by a grant from vt adap as of 10/1/2016.
