Causes: Arts & Culture
Mission: Vashon Center for the Arts, a collaborative and community-based organization, provides a center for the arts on Vashon Island, initiates quality arts experiences for all ages, and creates opportunities for artists to perform and exhibit their work.
Programs: Since offering our first class in 1966, VCA's arts education program has grown into a thriving, key component of the organization. VCA serves the community with over 120 classes and summer camps each year. Geared towards students of all ages, VCA offers classes in dance, pottery, fine arts, music and theatre. In addition, VCA presents a comprehensive events calendar, including concerts, dance performances, plays and other works.
