Mission: The purpose of Valley Senior Living Foundation is to seek and accept philanthropic gifts to perpetuate an endowment fund and to support services that enhance the care of the residents and tenants of Valley Senior Living.
Programs: We identified a need for spiritual care when our facility opened 95 years ago. We believe spiritual care is important in the lives of our residents and tenants. Funding is used to help continue the Chaplaincy program for all the residents, tenants, families and staff. We provide Music Therapy that contributes to memory recall, self-awareness, stimulation and provides a creative outlet for residents. Through Intergenerational Programming we connect the larger living world for our elders and youth. Interactions allow for youth to learn and residents to teach and remain vibrant and productive. We also provide Community Connections that give residents the opportunity to reconnect with their past or experience something they've always wanted to do by providing additional resources.
