Mission: Bringing people together to share ennobling artistic experiences by creating a nurturing environment that ensures performance excellence, creative experiences, and educational opportunities.
Programs: Serving utah and the western u. S. , ufomt presents a quality opera and musical season each year. During the 2017 festival season there were 48 opera performances (6 productions including rex & seussical at the utah theatre), 12 concerts (includes 6 silent films w/organ and uhsmta performance), 83 classes (53 academy including 3 cabarets + 30 conservatory), and 9 free performances (tabernacle concerts). During the offseason there were 5 live performances at the utah theatre (brother brigham and farley family christmas) and 298 classic films shown at the utah theatre from october 2016 through september 2017.
