Mission: The consortium is a non-profit community development corporation dedicated to the human, social, economic and physical improvement of uptown cincinnati. Uptown is located just north of downtown and the consortium's areas of focus generally include the neighborhoods of avondale, clifton, clifton heights, corryville, fairview, mt. Auburn and university heights. The consortium will undertake a variety of investment and program activities in uptown to help provide housing, health care and job opportunities
Programs: Community development and public safety - the objective is to promote uptown neighborhoods as vibrant communities where people of diverse economic and cultural background live, work, learn and play together and to ensure that uptown is safe, attractive and walkable community for its residents, employees, students and visitors.
organization and planning - the objective of uptown consortium is to promote economic development efforts and neighborhood services through integrated strategies that address physical improvements to housing, infrastructure, and commercial areas increasing community economic assets, and creation and expansion of commercial industrial, life sciences, healthcare and educational- related services.
