Unity Christian Church

First started going to the pantry during my chemo, it was a very long 1 1/2 years. They always made me feel extremely welcomed. I wanted to give back in some way somewhere for all the help I received during my scare. This pantry helped me heal , get strong and nourished me. Five years later still volunteering with them. I could keep writing the great things they have done. They are my family now, that is how grateful I am to be a part of giving. They just don't realize how much of an impact they made on me. Forever grateful ,Thank you for reading my message.

Volunteering at this pantry is a joy. Being able to minister to our neighbors with food and fellowship is a blessing. Our staff works tirelessly to spread God's love.

Unity Christian has provided so much relief for my family during these difficult times. I would recommend visiting this pantry because they make you feel like people and not just another number. I would highly recommend this pantry to anyone who is needing assistance

I became aware of their food pantry because they were serving the community where I live. I visited and saw the work that they were doing and all the people that they were serving food as well as spiritual needs. I became a supporter and have visited many times. Each time that I visited I observed the same quality of serving that I witnessed from the very beginning.

Even though I have not had to visit this pantry I have noticed particularly over these past two years the consistency of having this pantry open at this church. I cannot recall any church in the Greater Cincinnati area that has been doing this or is currently doing this and certainly not on a on going basis. I think if I appreciate this then the surrounding area appreciates it as well. It has inspired me even to see if this is something that we could do at my church as well. Bishop Wilson is dedicated and committed to his church community and that wonderful .

Unity has helped my family out a lot especially with food and clothing. Having the pantry really helps a lot of families like mines that are really in need.

I have seen this program help people of all ages and race. You can tell they work from love and without judgement. You are always welcomed with warmth and understanding.

I have been working with the pantry for sometime now. They serve a lot of families. I have been told by many that if it was not for the pantry they would not be able to feed their family that week. For that I am glad to help the community.

I was greeted with a smile and was able to shop for what I needed. The people were very pleasant to me and my children.

Since I’ve retired, the pantry has really come through for me. The cost of living has gone up but my social security only goes so far after I pay my bills. They are angels sent from heaven. I appreciate everything they do for the community.

Awesome volunteers, super friendly. They provide an abundance of food at their pantry and you can also get other resources like clothes.

I was told about this pantry during the pandemic. The workers in the pantry were welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Also, I told my friend about them and she loved them too.
There food is long dated and brand name.

We are so thankful for what Unity Christian Church does in helping to feed those you are less fortunate and in need of assistance. They are always courteous and encouraging as they distribute food items to the seniors that have enrolled in the food distribution program. Their work is so very helpful to the community

I have worked with the Unity Christian Food Pantry for several years. I have watched it grow week after week. We have been so fortunate to have such hard working and dedicated volunteers servicing the community. This is something I look forward to participating in each day it is offered and hope it continues to bless each individual that comes.

The Church is Very invested in Helping the Needy and Older People. They are Very Nice and Caring Staff. And Will Help You Carry the Items to Your Vehicles if you need a Hand. And Everyone Takes their Turn by Numbers So there is No need to be in a Hurry.

I am so glad to be able to be a part of the pantry. It's a blessing to lend a helping hand in these trying times. I get to meet people chat with them and even share life stories. Unity Christian church pantry was a blessing to me and my family. They have provided us 2 years in a row with a thanksgiving food box.

I love doing service.. I love doing what Jesus says do. He said if you fed one of these you have done it to me.. One lady that impacted me the most is she lost her mother on Mothers Day. She came to the pantry not for the food but for the love she is always shown.

Unity Christian Church has been a God send especially during the pandemic. The staff is always very courteous and respectful to the people that they serve. I like the number of the times the pantry is open to the public. They also help people get their packages to their car. The last time I went the check in time was on computer and this speeded up the process in a timely fashion. This pantry is well organized and well staffed and enjoyable to participate in

I volunteered from 2019-through 2020 during the pandemic but unfortunately had to stop once I was called back to work. I enjoyed my experience and to see how appreciative the community was and continues to be is what made it worth while. We prided ourselves on being a judgement free zone because we’ve all been there at some point where we needed help. I wouldn’t trade the experience for the world.

Everyone was so welcoming and nice. There were so many items to choose from. They made sure to direct you through the entire process. I was so grateful to receive help in my time of need. They keep you updated about events as well as food distribution. We had such a variety of food. It was a wonderful experience.

I have been coming to this food bank since Sept 2020. I came during the thick of Covid. The ppl there was all nice and inviting! They made me feel welcomed. I also told other family members about this place and they have been blessed as well.

They will go over and under at this establishment, I have seen them help th elderly people and disable people to their car with products obtained from the pantry.

It is generally a line when you arrive, they have even created a system where everyone gets to shop and there is ALWAYS enough for everybody!

This place is short of amazing!!!

They were the nicest people very helpful you had a very nice selection and they let us pick out her own groceries that way nothing we go to waste because I get to get the groceries that I knew my family and I would eat that way there's no ways to hate going to Panthers and they give you a bunch of food that nobody will eat I always make do with it or find somebody else that needs it cuz I can't eat certain things but I really genuinely like the place and I would like to go to church sometime as well the people are very friendly helpful and they were very giving God bless them all

This church is very active in the Hartwell Improvement Association and also has established a very active food pantry in the community. They are the most civic minded church in the community. I don't know what we did before they established their church. They really deserve a 5 star rating!

It has been very rewarding working with this non profit. Helping the community with their needs has not only been a positive impact on the clients but also the volunteers. It is a win win situation for everyone involved. It has definitely been my pleasure. Looking forward to continuing to serve people in need.

This group of volunteers are wonderful. The hard work and hours they spend volunteering and raising funds, to help others, is quite remarkable. They are always welcoming, friendly, polite and ready to help. Unity not only operates a very active foodbank, they are active in their community as well, always asking what is needed and how may they help
