Mission: The mission of upstream is to change health care so that all women can conveniently access the full range of contraceptive methods, particularly the most effective methods, iuds and the implant, improving downstream outcomes for women, families, children, and society.
Programs: Upstream provides training and technical assistance to health centers in order to eliminate the barriers that prevent women from obtaining the birth control method of their choice, improving outcomes for parents, children and society.
