I support Four Paws as they are out in various countries saving any animal in need of rescue. They will travel great lengths and work hard until the animals are finally in one of their many safe animal appropriate sanctuaries with proper food and medical care. They are amazing!
After visiting Lion's Rock with Four Paws I witnessed firsthand how incredibly diligent and hard-working this team is to protect animal welfare. It was inspiring to learn about their challenging rescues and see these incredible creatures thriving at the sanctuary.
This nonprofit does extraordinary work for animals of all “stripes” around the globe. From rescuing inhabitants of zoos in war torn countries left behind to starve, to rescuing bears caged for life for the purpose of extracting their bile, to saving big cats from exploitation by private individuals, to working to eliminate the human consumption of dogs and cats. Their work is certainly not just “boots on the ground.” It is also their tireless efforts to raise awareness among the public, and to influence policymakers by proposing and supporting sensible animal welfare legislation.
Four Paws does amazing work for animals! They have done and continue to do incredible work for animals both in the US and around the world. Rescuing elephants, big cats and bears from neglect and abuse, war torn areas and cruel entertainment. They have sanctuaries and rescue partners around world to rehome the animals saved from cruel circumstances. They are also working hard at ending the awful cat and dog meat trade in Asia. Four Paws is full of incredibly kind, compassionate and dedicated staff who genuinely care about making the world a better place for animals.

In a world where news are filled with murder, mayhem and misery it is truly uplifting to read about the rescues of four paws international. No animal in need is too small or too large. When I saw Four Paws' first video, I was not be very impressed because it was just too short and didn't show much of what they do. However, when I saw the second video I was beyond impressed, I was mesmerized with their efforts and commitment to free and care for the animals enduring suffering and abuse, most of them for their entire lives.

I love Four Paws because they go all over the world and help a wide variety of animals, and they get results! Whether they're rescuing dog meat trade victims, getting big cats trapped in hellhole zoos or circuses, or rescuing earthquake victims, they're on it!
This organization does a great job in helping a variety of wild animals. Their mission is to help wild animals in need to live their rest of their lives in the best way possible. A proper enclosure with plenty of space and food is what they provide to each animal they take under their wing. They have helped give back peace and happiness to abused and abandoned wild animals. For example I just saw a video on how they helped rescue two tigers that were abandoned in a train for 15 years and were only being fed once a week. Those tigers didnt even know what grass felt like. Well, this organization gave the back their long lost life and put them in an enclosure with grass, trees, hiding spots, and the best of all is that they didnt separate the tigers from one another. Those two tigers are having the life they deserved 15 years ago thanks to Four Paws. In my opinion, this is the best non profit organization I've seen.

I have donated to this outstanding animal rescue team and they are wonderful and kind to the sweet and helpless, beautiful animals that need desperately to be returned to good health, nutritious food and a beautiful and safe environment in which to thrive and be cared for. I am amazed by the work of the Four Paws organization. Their ability and determination to help animals is wonderful. They do it with care and compassion and provide animals that are in desperate need for help a better life. The before and after ( they are saved by Four Paws) pictures of these animals attest to it!
I first heard of Four Paws when we were living in Kosovo. Bears were being kept in small cages at restaurants around the area to draw in customers. Four Paws worked to rescue these "restaurant bears" and built the Bear Sanctuary Prishtina to house them in a species-appropriate environment. The sanctuary also serves as an educational resource to encourage people to respect and appreciate bears and other wildlife.
Four Paws works to rescue animals from terrible situations around the world. I particularly enjoy hearing about their recent efforts and successes in ending the dog meat trade.
As a veterinary professional of 40 years, I have worked with animal rescue groups. While I have not had the honor of working with Four Paws, I have followed their work for years. They have been consistently well organized, focused and effective.
The first I learnt of this organization in 2017 when one of my friends forwarded a story about big cat rescue in war torn Syria. It was impressive. More impressive was their transparency and easy communication style. Prompt, genuine, honest. Then we all heard about starving lions in Sudan, how the Four Paws team took care of them. Just recently, Four Paws rescued an elephant from a Pakistani zoo where they did not have the funding or the knowledge to care for him. It was a remarkable effort, humanity, and dedication to help those who can not speak for themselves.
A few days ago I reached out to Four Paws seeking their assistance in the evacuation effort of a woman run dog/cat rescue operation out of Afghanistan. While they were unable to help at the time, they were prompt and reassuring in their response.
They are a fantastic organization. I wish there were more people like them on this planet.

This agency is full of absolute heroes. They work tirelessly and selflessly to do the work no one else cares to do. They are truly a force against evil and have impacted the lives of hundreds if not thousands of innocent animals that cannot help for or speak for themselves. I was unaware of four paws until Kaavan made news. Since then I have seen their amazing work in war torn areas, animal trade, rescues from a variety of situations. In each case they are professional, innovative, non political. And get the animals out to safety and restore health!! They get my support and my hard earned dollars. A long time ago 2003 - 05 I worked in Azerbaijan living in a town called Mingachevir alongside the river there was a small gage, and in the cage was a small brown bear. I don't know if Four Paws was around back then I know I had not heard of them. For many years after leaving Azerbaijan I often thought about that bear, makes me feel so sad to think of the bear in that cage even now after all these years. Why I am I writing this? I think it is to say thank you to Four Paws and I sincerely hope you do exactly what you claim, and if you have any reps in Azerbaijan ask them to check out Mingachevir and the small cage near the bridge over the river. This non-profit is the real deal! They help animals all over the world! Four Paws rescues animals from horrific zoos (bears, tigers, and lions who are near death) and transfers them to sanctuaries. They rescue orangutans from cruel captivity throughout Asia and rehabilitate them and release back into the wild. Four Paws is also opening an elephant sanctuary in Asia to help both captive and wild elephants. This organization is actually on-the-ground rescuing and saving animals every day!
I would love to be able to get out there and help but I cannot. I am disabled. Reading about and seeing how much good they do for animals. Even in the worst of circumstances Four Paws is out there trying to save every animal they can. And now with the pandemic, every country is having trouble feeding their animals so Four Paws is there. Right now elephants in Thailand are in trouble so Four Paws is there but they need donations urgently. They are also trying to stop the dog and cat meat trade.
I receive emails from FourPaws International and also follow their account on Twitter. When I read their articles and stories they provide, it makes me feel closer to animals in need and it amazes me what FourPaws is willing and able to do. Thank you.

I first heard about Four Paws International Inc. when I was notified of a Change.org petition to help zoo animals stranded in the Gaza Zoo (and others), that have been completely forgotten and are starving due to the military strife and fighting that has been going on there for many months and even years. I have donated to this organization and stay up-to-date on their mission: helpful all animals around the country and the world who have been abused for entertainment, scientific, and other horrendous purposes. I cannot say enough good things about this organization, and what they are doing for helpless animals around the world. Keep doing what you're doing, Four Paws, and hopefully we will all help you as much as we can!
