Causes: Federated Giving Programs, Philanthropy
Mission: The raising of funds in carlsbad and south eddy county, new mexico, for agencies in said area carrying on charitable, benevolent, health, and welfare work; to improve people's lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities and to impact the community thereby; uniting as far as possible all the financial campaigns of non-profit charitable, benevolent, health, and welfare organizations; the distribution of the funds so raised among the participating non-profit organizations; protecting the citizens of the area against solicitors for unworthy, inefficient, or unnecessary charitable appeals; and to have and exercise all powers conforming to the laws of the state of new mexico upon non-profit corporations formed under the laws pursuant to and under which the corporation is formed as such laws are in effect or may at any time thereafter be amended.
