Programs: Over 60 programs are funded to help meet the areas of most need in the following priority areas:* Providing Basic Needs & Increasing Self-Sufficiency* Fostering Safer Homes & Neighborhoods* Supporting Community Health Issues* Promoting Mental Wellness & Reducing Substance AbuseAdditionally, we operate two other major initiatives:* United Way's Volunteer Center of Atlantic County, which matches volunteers with agency needs in our local area.* Success By 6, our early childhood development program dedicated to addressing the critical issues that face children from infancy to 6 years of age, through focus on age-appropriate immunizations, early literacy, pediatric dental issues, parenting skills and pre-natal care.
