Causes: Health, International, International Development
Mission: At Ujenzi Trust, we support efforts to identify and build sustainable solutions to persistent health needs in resource poor communities.
Programs: Ujenzi Trust’s Southern Sudan Program funds efforts to increase access to care, strengthen the overall capacity of the health delivery system, and improve health outcomes in Southern Sudan. Ujenzi Trust also recognizes the impact women have on the health of their families and communities and is investing in maternal and child health projects. Improved care leads to healthier pregnancies, healthier babies, and healthier, more resilient communities.
Ujenzi Trust has started to target these goals through the development of funding efforts for three foundational projects:
- Southern Sudan Medical Education Collaborative
- Maternal, Newborn, and Child Survival Initiative
- Low Cost High Yield Project
