Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Education, Literacy, Preschools, Primary & Elementary Schools, Remedial Reading & Encouragement
Mission: The mission of U2Can is to provide guidance, support and training needed to empower parents to be their child’s first teachers of reading. U2Can encourages primary caregivers to be actively involved in their child’s education and to foster their positive beliefs in academic successful outcomes. With interventions in place for parents of early childhood learners, it is more likely that these youngsters will be independent, proficient readers by the end of third grade and continue to meet success throughout school. U2Can sets the goal of aiding parents in helping their children be life-long learners.
Results: We so far have partnered with 12 schools helping parents learning the best way to help their student succeed. Offering resources and skills to increase reading proficiency and academic success.
