Programs: Church planting in 2010, 5 americans served on one short-term missions team with international interns in the country of moldova. They provided a broad range of services in two villages for an estimated 80 children, 15 youth and 190 adults, and shared this common message of hope: "god loves you and offers eternal life through jesus christ! "also, in 2010, four gagauz moldovan missionaries led a staff of 15 which conducted a summer camp program for 120 children of very poor families in crimea, ukraine. In december the missionaries in crimea conducted christmas outreach programs in 4 villages for 835 children, plus parents and school teachers. The focus was jesus and the true meaning of christmas. During 2010 16 gagauz and other moldovan national missionaries continued serving their church plants in 16 moldovan villages. Approximately 320 people were reported as regular participants in these ministries.
leadership training during 2010, 5 students were enrolled in the intense three-year program of the leadership development institute (ldi) in central moldova. The ldi classes provided practical experience and a strong biblical basis for each of the church-planting students. After graduating, students will continue to work diligently in applying their knowledge to expand local church ministries and nurture newly established churches.
business as mission (bam) the gagauz tabitha farm project leaders reported that all expenses were paid in 2010. Crops grown included table grapes, sunflowers (for cooking oil), corn and wheat. The farm project provided jobs for 5 families, partially supported 4 missionaries to other countries, 2 pastors, their families and churches.
