Causes: Chambers of Commerce & Business Leagues
Mission: Twin cities quorum (quorum) champions the business case for a fully inclusive community asa conduit for economic development and a leader in the continuum of change. As the twin cities glbt (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered) + allied chamber of commberce, quorum is a conduit for economic development. Our work includes assisting and developing certified glbt owned enterprises and supporting their entrance into the supply chains of forward thinking equality-minded companies through fully inclusive supplier diversity programs as well as creating visibility and business activity for all of our memberbusinesses and organizations.
Programs: National coming out day is a celebration of achievements in the twin cities lgbt community. It is an opportunity for business leaders to network and learn best in class practices for creating a work environment where employees can live authentic lives and exceed performance expectations. In 2017, approximately 500 business professionals from the twin cities metropolitan area attended the event.
the leadership awards celebration is an event highlighting the successes of member businesses. It is an opportunity for the board to recognize outstanding achievement, naming a "business of the year," "nonprofit of the year," "business leader of the year," "inclusion leader of the year, and "lifetime achievement" honoree. Attendance in 2017 was approximately 100.
the annual meeting is a holiday celebration where members have an opportunity to network, future board and officer membership is approved and the financial report of the past year is reviewed. Attendance in 2017 was approximately 100.
