Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals
Mission: Our mission is to educate people about having house rabbits as companions, assist people with finding information to take the best care of their rabbits, help rabbits in local animal shelters through volunteering and networking, and rescue and rehabilitate domestic rabbits so they can find loving, permanent homes.
Results: Triangle Rabbits began as a community group and grew into a non-profit organization, founded in 2014. We work to make a difference through education, rescue, and community outreach. Since our beginning, we’ve hosted over 200 classes, assisted more than 25 rescue partners, and adopted over 300 rabbits into loving homes. Within the first four years of operation we built and continue to maintain an emergency medical fund. In 2024 we met our goal of renting and renovating a space in Raleigh, NC and opening an Outreach Center. We have grown our fundraising skills and conduct 3-4 events per year.
