During these meetings, tsa representatives provided factual input and data, as well as answering questions, and also briefed each government authority on the current status of such legislation in other countries.

In addition to the two regularly scheduled meetings in may and november, tsa was in frequent contact and communication with the fmc throughout the year as and when needed on specific issues.
tsa continued to produce reports and statistics on cargo flows, demand and supply for containerized shipping, and general revenue and rate trends in the transpacific trade, as well as keeping its members updated on general economic, regulatory and operational developments in the transpacific shipping industry.
