Programs: We organized and presented 9 public workshops, including our flagship super-training. Two of these workshops were led by trainers of color, exclusively for activists of color. One was organized especially for activists from west virginia, and we anticipate that it will be the first step in a project to significantly build organizing and training skills among activists in west virginia. Two hundred twenty-two people attended these workshops, including activists from china, canada, australia, the netherlands, the united kingdom, columbia, and the philippines
we consulted and trained with more than 35 organizations and groups. We sent trainers to the united kingdom and belgium this year, and to the standing rock dakota nation. Two major labor unions, one in canada and one in the us, used our services extensively. Other groups included churches, neighborhood organizations, food co-ops, the national park service, immigrant rights campaigns, and environmental justice organizations we reached at least 2,500 people in these workshops and consultations.
we expanded our fellowship program for activists of color. Five people took part this year, receiving individual coaching, scholarships to our open workshops, and access to any associated trainer for consulting.
