Town & Country K9 ResQ is the real deal! I've volunteered and rescued from many organizations over the years but none who will stand by their dogs like Town & Country! Jen, the founder has the biggest heart and her dedication to her rescues is second to none. Rain, shine or snow, she is out there getting the dogs out for fresh air and long walks with treats in her pocket so they feel extra loved. Jen and her amazing rescue are the best of the best!!!

Town & Country K9 ResQ is committed to helping the fur friends with the good fortune to be taken under their wing. Jen goes above and beyond when it comes to rescuing animals. She takes the time to assess each dog's medical and emotional needs to be sure to make the best match with potential adopters. Her attentiveness to these details is evident in her compassion and care. Jen's interest in ensuring T&C pups are living their best lives continues after adoption, as she always remains available for support.

Jen truly believes that every dog deserves a home - and not just any home...the right home. The time and effort that Town & Country K9 ResQ puts into the adoption and training process ensures the right fit for each dog. Dogs and their human handlers (pawrents) receive extensive training, follow-ups, and lifetime medical care if needed. She rescues the elderly, the sick, the "unadoptables" - dogs that people gave up on, but not Jen and her partners. These dogs, especially some of our bully breeds, deserve as much a chance at a happy life, and Jen is their angel, saving them one at a time. We wish many years of continued success for Town & Country K9 RedQ - their work is important and they are truly champions of those that desperately need to be saved.

It all started a few years ago when me and my wife stumbled onto this rescue group , looking to foster two very adorable Jack Russell’s , Mary and Timmy. They were super fisety, but very well behaved.. Come to find out that was because all there dogs went through quite a bit of training before they get placed . We actually sat in on a training session with these two and we’re really impressed. There staff were great and so was Jen. We also adopted a very sweet Begal , named Molly from them. Three dogs all told. Our experience has been wonderful, we’ve became friends with everyone there, and never has there been any problems, and they have always been there for us and the doggies. Thanks so much, Tom and Linda

I met Jen (owner and founder of Town and Country) and Christine about 7 years ago. Since then I have seen all the amazing work this rescue does. Not only saving many dogs from the Euthanasia list but actually ensuring they are healthy and adoptable before they post for adoption. She gets medical care for all her dogs and she gets dogs trained who need it. She never gives up on a dog no matter the time or expense. Amazingly if she has a dog with a risky medical condition she covers all medical expenses for life. I don’t know many rescues that do that.

A dog getting a loving home is her only objective. I have attended dog adoption events with them and they are always open and honest about their dogs. They don’t just want them to get a home, they want them to get the right home. For both the dog and the owner.

I can’t say enough good things about this rescue. If you are looking for a dog this rescue is one to definitely check out.

I was fortunate enough to experience Town & Country's altruistic devotion as a volunteer. Jen took my canine friend Rocky in as a rescue from a local shelter where he was deteriorating. She was determined to giving him a second chance at a life he deserved. I actually volunteered at the aforementioned shelter Rocky came from and Jen graciously allowed me to follow him to Town & Country. Over the years that Rocky was with her he received not only the best care, but the best preparation for success in his future home. After being a stray who only knew shelter life, Town & Country provided him with the stability and respect we knew he always deserved. Ultimately, Jen found Rocky his family! After months of home visits and training sessions with his new Mom, Rocky went home. Rocky's journey is just one of Town & Country's success stories. Their commitment and devotion to the individual animal and animal welfare in general is astounding!

We have adopted 3 dogs from.Town n Country k9 Resq. We've been adopting from.several rescues for 20 Years. There has.never been a.more.transparent, devoted professional rescue than town and country. They have backed us.one.million percent on all 3 dogs, some who have let's say quirky
personalities! They offered training support and emotional.support throughout the lives of.our pups. Sadly lost 2 to cancer and their president was there for us from the beginning to their very last breath. We think the world of this rescue because they never let us down for all aspects of.our adoption process. Transparent, honorable and thoroughly knowledgeable about their pups. We hold them in our highest esteem because they do rescue right.

Lucy is Jen’s (Town & Country K9 ResQ) very first rescue pup. Lucy was found wandering near boat docks at Bear Mountain State Park just over eight years ago. Someone who knew of Jen brought Lucy to her, hoping she would take her in.
Jen called me and asked if I wouldn't mind fostering until we found Lucy's family. My first and only question was, "is she cat friendly?" Once I was told, "she is", I did not hesitate to say yes.
My husband and I fostered Lucy for about two months while we tried to find her family, to no avail. We then decided we would accept adoption applications for her but deep down I knew I couldn't give her up. The deal was sealed (as they say) when Jen came over to visit and tried to pick Lucy up. Lucy went underneath my chair and pretended to sleep. :) She was mine. Shortly after, I was finally able to convince my husband that we were her family. We became foster failures to a two year old Beagle! At the time, Lucy joined a pack of feline brothers, Tyler, Mush and Stanley, who have all since passed of old age.
Lucy Loo has brought so much joy into our lives. I am forever grateful to be a foster failure.

Town & Country K9 ResQ is one of the greatest rescues I have worked with. They take the time to get to know all their animals so they can place them in the right home. Training and medical care without hesitation is provided more than I have seen in many other rescues. Their full time commitment to all adopters and fosters is amazing!

We adopted the famous Cola in December 2019. Jen and everyone at the shelter and rescue kept our boy sane while he spent 3 years waiting for a family to adopt him. When we met Cola I instantly fell in love! Not only is he the sweetest goofball, but he is also very well trained and I very much appreciated the rescue going that extra mile so ensure he was the "bestest boi" for his new family!

I consider our situation unique because we were very familiar with the adoption process as our family had fostered and adopted out many dogs over several years. I knew I wanted to adopt from a reputable rescue and Jen and her group were impressive from the very beginning.
They clearly love and care about all of the animals in their care and by dotting every "i" and crossing every "T" they ensure that it's a good for for for all involved. In my opinion, that is the key to ensure a successful adoption, not just adopting out the animal to any random family that applies.

Thank you for choosing us to be Cola's family!

I heard about a dog with cancer that needed a home. I immediately reached out to Jen and she set up a meet and greet with the precious little black pitbull , our family and our older dog, to make sure everyone got along. We fell in love with this little guy. We knew he wouldn't have a long life, but wanted to give him the best possible life. We were supported thoughout the 4 years we had our boy. Town & Country ResQ stood by their medical for life program. Doctor visits, surgeries, and cancer treatments. Their first concern was always to make sure we knew our options and so we could do what was best for Buddy Dave. The rescue was always professional and caring. They truly care about their dogs and the families they go to. I cannot say enough good things or give enough accolades to them.

Town & Country K9 Resq is one of the most Professional Rescues I have ever worked with. They are careful and thorough about where they place their animals to be sure the new Parents are adopting a perfect fit for them. They also take on Medical For Life animals, which is something very few rescues do, giving these animals the Love & Life they so deserve. Jennifer is always there to support her adopters after they have taken their new family member home. I Love Town & Country and I think anyone that works with them will as well.

I have been training dogs for Town & Country K9 ResQ since early 2017. Town & Country sends virtually all of their dogs to us for evaluation and training, if needed, to make them more adoptable. Evaluating and training dogs helps to make sure that possible adoptions are a good match and likely to last. All rescues should make the investment in evaluating and training dogs to make sure adoptions stick. Town & Country K9 ResQ is the only one I know that does this every time! Kudos to T&C!
