Mission: The tjpdc corporation promotes regional cooperation and collaboration among government, the private sector, and community organizations to improve the quality of life for citizens in the planning district (city of charlottesville and counties of albemarle, fluvanna, greene, louisa and nelson in central virginia).
Programs: The geriatric collaborative of central virginia developed curriculum for four courses, and offered four live sessions, with 51 people trained.
cvillevillage conducted a canvass of the woolen mills neighborhood to determine the number of households and volunteers willing to participate and to identify the types of services needed. A total of 174 people were surveyed.
