Causes: Human Services, Senior Centers, Seniors
Mission: To provide for the needs of the senior citizens of the thurmont md community by providing meetings, subsidized meals, transportation, activities and educational seminars geared towards the concerns and needs of such senior citizens.
Programs: To provide subsidized meals to senior citizens on fixed incomes. During fiscal year 2016-17 meals were served and the meal program was subsidized with additional funds. 2015-16 3,053 meals 2014-15 3,152 meals2013-14 2,249 meals
to provide transportation to those senior citizens who would otherwise lack the means or the ability, or would find it a hardship, to transport themselves
to provide for the needs of the senior citizens by providing meetings, group activities and educational seminars geared towards the concerns and needs of such senior citizens
