san diego cooperative charter school 2 (sdccs2): operation of a public charter school for students in grades k-8 at the organization's mountain view campus. 2013-14 was the school's first year of operation with only k-3 students enrolled. The intent is to grow each year up to grade 8. The school shares the same educational philosophy as the initial charter school. With the initial school meeting capacity, sdccs2 was created as a result of a clear need within the community.
operation of an extended day program (edp) to offer a quality before- and after-school childcare program that is based on the same cooperative philosophy employed by the charter school, which provides a safe, supportive environment and encourages parent participation. Edp is a high quality, well-supervised program which offers a balance of activities designed to develop self-esteem and provides a creative educational and recreational experience for children.
