Causes: Addictive Disorders, Community Mental Health Centers, Counseling, Mental Health
Mission: Our Mission: The ReFocus Center is dedicated to providing high-quality mental health and social worker services that support the community needs of the Richmond tri-county area. To this end, we will offer career counseling, psycho-educational workshops, and personal and group counseling that is responsive to the individual, cultural, and demographic diversity of our community. Additionally, we will strive to focus on advancing the counseling and social work profession by participating in research that adds to the current literature.
Results: Free psycho-educational support groups offered to the community.
Target demographics: We wish to help all people in our community to find happiness and peace.
Geographic areas served: We are based in Mechanicsville, VA with a goal of reaching everyone in the Richmond VA and all surrounding areas.
Programs: We can provide low-cost, dynamic individual therapy that meets the needs of the individual. The funds from individual therapy allow us to provide FREE group counseling to the community.
