Mission: The pink ribbon fund's primary exempt purpose is to compassionately assist pine belt breast cancer patients with financial support for their diagnosis and treatment, as well as quality of life issues resulting from their illness.
Programs: Payments were made directly to health care providers and insurance companies on behalf of breast cancer patients. Payments cover items such as: mammograms, mastectomy supplies, physical therapy, pharmacy bills, doctor bills, and lab bills. Gas cards were provided to offset transportation costs to doctor appointments. Gift certificates were provided to purchase cancer recovery items.
