produced survey of nassau grouper and parrotfish spawning aggregations around the bahamas resulting in three publications and will be an ongoing project.
development and release of coral reef report card evaluating the health of coral reefs; development of coral reef videos and public service announcements. Provide support for the bahama's national trust conchservation campaign. Provide support for a national assessment of the parrotfish fishery and development of a draft management plan for nassau grouper fishery in the bahamas. Provided support for a graduate student who is examining the feasibility of repopulating reefs with urchins to promote coral recovery.
