Mission: To showcase and educate the
Programs: To enrich the community with continued education of talented artist's work exhibited at the jacobson house. We achieve this by bringing to the community and state of oklahoma lectures, workshops, cultural activities and art exhibits. These subjects are taught through live interaction with the artists, or one on one demonstrations, or workshops and exhibits that continue an ongoing theme. Enrichment for the community taught through books, films, oral and written history, dancing, singing permanent and revolving art collections. Private and public collections are shared for all to see and learn about. We also have authentic native american created art pieces. These consist of jewelry, paintings, drawings, sculptures, music, food, clothing and other items. Many of these art pieces are originals and native to oklahoma with artists of varying degrees of fame. The whole time remembering oscar b. Jacobson, the man and the artist whom the jacobson house native art center is named after. The house in its own right is registered with the national register of historic places. The house is also an oklahoma historical societies landmark and a documented oklahoma state historical marker. Preserving the property and renaissance revival style house is also our mission. Giving lectures and tours on a walk-in or scheduled basis. We are a non-profit 501(c) organization.
