Mission: To increase our communities' ability to support the self-determination and safety of bi, trans, lesbian, and gay survivors of abuse. We work within a broad liberation movement dedicated to racial, economic and social justice, equality and respect for all people.
Programs: In 2017, the nw network provided comprehensive direct advocacy support to the lgbtq survivors of domestic and sexual abuse and other forms of violence across the life span. We provide training and technical assistance to improve services, policy and practice in regions across the united states. We lead the national lgbtq dv tta initiative and the national lgbtq capacity building learning center, advancing policy and conducting research to increase the well-being of lgbtq survivors of violence and their families and communities.
