Mission: As the philanthropic foundation of the national restaurant association, we enhance the industry's service to the public through education, community engagement and promotion of career opportunities.
Results: ProStart® reaches more than 90,000 students in 1,700 high schools across 47 states, Guam, and U.S. military bases. In 2012 alone, the NRAEF awarded $1.1 Million in scholarships. We have awarded more than $14 million in scholarships for students and educators since 1997.
Programs: The nraef provides grants and scholarships to students and teachers in the foodservice industry. The nraef is the philanthropic foundation of the national restaurant association and exists to enhance the restaurant industry's service to the public. Nraef's prostart serves about 95,000 students at over 1,900 high schools in 48 states, guam and u. S. Military bases. Additionally, the nraef awards scholarships to students and educators to provide continued industry education. Since 1997, the nraef has awarded $16. 7 million in scholarships.
