Get involved with The Good Food Institute to change the food system. I give to GFI to end factory farming.
Animal suffering, climate change, food insecurity...these are just a few of the very serious world-wide problems the Good Food Institute address through their work. Giving to GFI means addressing devastating crises through innovative, sustainable methods. I can't recommend them highly enough.
GFI continues to prove invaluable year after year. I attended GFI's inaugural Good Food Conference in September of 2018 which only multiplied my confidence in this remarkable group of professionals. GFI brought together the best minds in clean and plant-based meat, including established meat companies, entrepreneurs, top scientists, members of the media, and more. It occurs to me that without GFI, many of these players may not have collaborated in this way. Their work is vital to long-term, positive change in our global food system.
The GFI is rapidly changing the food system on a global scale. I've had the pleasure of reading Bruce's monthly highlights since the beginning of this year, which has given me insight into the enormous scale of GFI's impact. I'm proud to support the GFI's work.
I've put a lot of thought into determining how to do the most good with my donations. The Good Food Institute has a proven track record of using market forces and food innovation to speed the transition away from industrialized animal agriculture and toward promising alternatives. What separates GFI apart is their work on the supply side. Instead of changing minds and behavior patterns, GFI is bringing new, better food to the marketplace. From my perspective, their strategy is the single-most effective way to end factory farming.
If you're interested in reducing massive human and non-human global suffering, GFI is an exceptional partner. GFI harnesses the power of food innovation and markets to transform our current system from industrial animal agriculture to plant-based and clean meat. GFI has a unique methodology, focusing on core programmatic areas to accelerate positive change instead of relying on consumer behavior. As a result, GFI can develop competitive alternatives to industrialized meat, eggs, and dairy, shifting demand without shifting perception. GFI's vision is to achieve permanent transformation of the food system, a vision that is achievable only through donor support.
The Good Food Institute is changing the world through pragmatic strategies, dynamic partnerships, and visionary leadership. By focusing on consumer behavior, economics, and food technology, GFI is igniting a shift away from industrialized animal agriculture and toward a future of food that is healthy, humane, and sustainable. GFI is solution-oriented and committed to addressing far-reaching problems that pervade one singular area of interest. For these reasons, The Good Food Institute should be included in the philanthropic portfolio of anyone who cares about ensuring a better world for future generations.
GFI is one of the most innovative nonprofits in existence. Their commitment to maximum efficiency and impact makes me feel confident that my dollars are being used wisely.
As a Filipino-American, I know my culture's food can be very meat-heavy. Because of the Good Food Institute, I have hope that I can find a humane and sustainable way to enjoy the food I grew up with.
GFI is the most effective non-profit I can think off. They helped launch our company which is creating plant-based alternatives to animal products. They have been instrumental in moving the world towards an animal-free food system that is better for the planet and all of its inhabitants.
The Good Food Institute is going to change the future for all of us and mostly for all the animals that are abused every single day. Hope that we have a bright future with more companies doing this amazing work. Thank you GFI!
This organization as the power to change the world for good. The future of food means creating products that are better for people, don’t hurt the animals and protect the planet. I admire the efforts of GFI on making this dream a reality in Brazil.
The Good Food Institute is doing an amazing job in Brazil. Developing and promoting Brazil's plant-based food industry is fundamental to us.
If you really want to make a difference in this world, support GFI. Converting people one by one to veganism won't outpace the population growth of the developing economies ever more hungry for meat. But what if we didn't need animals to make that meat? Game changer.
GFI has done an incredible job divulging new feeding practices, especially in Brazil. It has been a great experience to follow the institute's actions
Great company, doing a great job in Brazil. I currently work with food distribution for restaurants in Brazil, and we can see they're work results with the major food producers in Brazil and also promoting vegan products for distributors like us.
GFI’s amazing work makes it easier for people to have access to delicious environmental-friendly foods. They’re already in Brazil and will be in many other countries soon!
A great example of a good companie in Brazil. Please keep whith this job.
GFI is doing a great job in Brazil, they are up to date with the latest tendencies and has positive impact into the food industry.
The Good Food Industry has been in Brazil for a short period of a time, and has already gotten a lot of attention in the media already due to it's scientific and data-based approach. We already know that the food industry is going to change, and it's easy to say that a fundamental piece for that to happen is within this NGO.
The Good Food Institute is doing an incredible work to change the food production system, not only in the US but also in Brazil and hopefully soon in other countries. This nonprofit's work is very pragmatic and results-oriented and it is one of the most important ones to accelerate the change needed in this area.
I can't wait to have this type of food!
It will help not only people and Animals but also the environment! So very important!
In a world of widespread hunger, environmental degradation associated with animal foods and the horrible animal abuse at factory farms the Good Food Institute has come along at just the right time to take our civilization to the next generation of food. Should GFI be successful in its efforts, and considering the fine leadership it's got it sure will, the next century will be one in which nobody has to go hungry to eat a healthy and affordable diet. No animal will have to suffer and factory farms will be a vague memory from the past. This is all coming due to GFI's promotion and financing (through New Crop Capital) of clean protein, the protein of the future. The fact that this young nonprofit organization has made "clean protein" a subject of household conversation and an internet staple shows just what a great job the institute is doing.
The future of our planet, the quality of life for farmed animals and wildlife, and our own health relies on using science and technology to overhaul our food system. The Good Food Institute is on the cutting edge in transforming the way we eat and treat animals through their altruistic and influential mission. It's incredibly inspiring to see GFI grow and make waves in the world of plant-based and clean meat technologies by leveraging science, policy changes, and education to create a better world.
GFI is a charity that is working to ensure that there will be a tomorrow for our planet. The less meat humans eat, the more chances increase for the survival of our planet. And to save people from eating cancer causing, fibre less, saturated fat filled animal meat, GFI works to advance the manufacturing of clean meat around the globe. This is the charity to support by all those who want their kids and grand kids to have an earth to live on.
Good Food Institute is tackling one of the most if not the most pressing problems of our lifetime: meat and the threat it poses to our environment, health, and animals. They understand something fundamental about human nature: that often beliefs change only after behavioral change begins. Rather than trying to convince people to ditch meat they’re making it the no brainer choice by promoting a post-animal economy that takes animals out of the equation without compromising on taste, cost or convenience. Once people realize there’s all upside and no downside to clean meat, they will try it, and once they try it and switch they will have no conflict of interest in advocating for a world where animals are no longer killed for food. They are geniuses doing work that literally impacts our chances of survival as a species and doing it brilliantly well. Just listen to anything Bruce Friedrich their Director has to say and you’ll agree.
The good food institute is using an ingeneuous strategy to tackle an incredebly important problem.
Our meat-production is imposing massive suffering on animals and it is contributing heavily to global warmning. Moreover, it is wasteful of land and water, it is damaging the enviorment and ill-suited to feed a growing human population.
The good food institute tries to tackle these problems by finding harmless and efficient ways to produce well-tasting food.
Our food system is broken. We can't afford to raise animals for food conventionally at this scale any longer. The Good Food Institute has assembled an impressive team of experts to usher in a revolution in food. Their key strength is that they are targeting all aspects of plant-based meat and clean meat development and adoption, from the fundamental science of clean meat production to influencing policy decisions nationally to supporting small business owners in plant-based and clean meat ventures and making these items commercially competitive. GFI is an organization into which I am proud to put my money and my hope for the future.
The team GFI has assembled to change the future of food is outstanding - they have leaders from all the relevant fields working to disrupt the food system. I couldn't be more proud to donate to GFI and I hope more will do the same!
