In 2019, I helped The Library Project collet some second-hand book in China, and contacted the schools that are in great need of books. I still remember the excitement of the teacher after she was told that there would be three hundred high quality books to be sent to her school. " The New Year is coming, I can't imagine more beautiful gifts for these little ones." She said. That was an experience full of sense of achievement. I spent time and some efforts, but I think I got much more.
It's a great experience working with TLP. They are very professional in choosing the children's books and providing teacher training plans. One book at a time. Let's join them.
I'm involved with this great organization as a long-term volunteer for many years, driven by its mission and professionalism, as well as the great moment they've built between us with these children they cared. For many times, I joined the donation trips and saw their team members that they called donation leads performing professionally and considerately in the whole process. They made me feel that I was doing a wonderful thing when I was touched by those shining smiles and eager eyes on the children's faces! Yes, the kids loved these new libraries and new books !
I have a great relationship with the library project. We donated lots of books to children who need help. They love the books very much.
I have known this organization for about 10 years. The Library-Project has done amazing things in China.I joined the donation activities 3 times in different regions. I can feel the changes they brought to those children. they left me deep impression.
The Library Project is a great organization. What they are doing and have done are great and influential to the rural kids. They have a very professional team, and all the staff are very passionate in what they are doing. They bridged the kids and the donors in a high level. I will recommend them without any doubt.
The library Project is a professional nonprofit, the effective implementation left a deep impression on me.
The staff are great!
It's a lovely and memorable experience to join TLP and helping children to explore their reading skills. Hope TLP can go further and bigger. Looking forward to join again.
I have been a volunteer for The library Project for many years, I am impressed by their attention to children, their earnestness and enthusiasm for their work, and I have recommended them to my friends.
I've been a regular donor to The Library Project since they started over a decade ago because I value and support their mission. Education is the key to success in the world. The Library Project provides books to underserved populations throughout Asia. Check out the pictures on their website to see just how thrilled these children are to have fun and interesting books
available to them in colorful, child-friendly libraries . I believe that helping out at this micro level - library by library - creates a ripple effect of opportunity and success in the world.
I donated to The Library Project and followed the organization’s work while living and working in China. They have done fantastic work in rural communities in East Asia.
I first had the privilege of meeting Tom Stader (Founder and Executive Director of the Library Project) 8 years ago, after his presentation at a TEDxCanton event that was held in Guangzhou, China. When I initially learned about the mission and vision of his organization, I immediately knew that I wanted to help by joining The Library Project's efforts in any way I possibly could. Tom's clear dedication to supporting and encouraging women leaders in this organization has really impressed me over the years, especially since I believe that empowering girls and women to lead is essential in today's world full of complex challenges. While meeting some of The Library Project's full time staff in Shanghai a few years back, I could tell they all shared a tangible sense of being part of a strong team, fully focused on solving difficult and yet critically important problems. Through such a simple and yet elegant solution (donations of books and library equipment), The Library Project has been changing children's lives by getting them more excited about learning to read and encouraging them to become more involved in a lifelong habit of reading. And by providing much-needed training and literacy-related resources for school staff that are often located in very remote areas, The Library Project has also been creating new possibilities for countless children, many of whom might have gone overlooked otherwise.
Thankfully, I was able to rally some friends of mine together in Nanjing to organize a "Nanjing Foodies" charity dinner in support of the Library Project several years ago, and I have been a monthly donor to the organization for quite some time. Tom even agreed to present at the TEDxYouth event I organized in Nanjing all the way back in 2012. And more recently, I was thrilled to accept an offer to join the Board of the Library Project this summer (2018). I'm looking forward to continuing to build up support for this truly outstanding organization, which has already celebrated fantastic successes in China, Vietnam, and the surrounding areas, and which has exciting potential to expand into even more countries in the years to come. Thanks for everything so far Tom and TLP team- I can't wait to see what the next few years will bring :-)
Working with TLP is such an amazing experience. they brought along their heart in every library donation that they made.
The Library Project is an incredible organization that helps the advancement of education by donating libraries to underfunded elementary schools in rural regions of Asia. They are changing the lives of young children, one book at a time.

Thank you for your kind words!
The Library Project is a great organization that dedicates itself to one goal - improve children literacy in rural area in Asia, and makes it nearly perfect. They are a small organization but is highly efficient and transparent, and constantly improves and innovates. Would be happy to see more independent and small nonprofit organizations thrive like this.

Thank you Sandy! Your support has been huge over the years. :-)
The immensely valuable work that The Library Project does cannot easily be "rated" in stars on a website that overviews nonprofit organizations. If you want to see with your own eyes the joy and human happiness that The Library Project gives directly to children in the developing wold, go to their website and look at the smiling faces of the next generation of our shared humanity.

Amazing work helping children who need it. It’s about education and literacy, but they do everything in a fun way for the children. The organization itself has great leadership and is full of people who are dedicated to their work.
The Library Project is a great organization run by great people! I apprecite the transparency of the organization. I know my donation makes a difference. For years I’ve made a monthly recurring donation and I love how I receive email updates with pictures and stories about the libraries I help fund.
A wonderful nonprofit to work with. They are changing the world one library at a time for our youth! An exceptional concept and the people who work here are amazing! Thank you for what you all do!
I work as an educator and mental health professional in Arizona, USA. I've been donating to The Library Project for over ten years and continue to be impressed with their work . The Library Project has identified the key component to achieving independence, success, and personal fulfillment - literacy. By encouraging a love of reading and learning, The Library Project helps every child they impact move closer to being the best they can be. The more you know about this organization, the more you'll want to be involved in promoting it in whatever way works for you.
