Mission: The leadershop empowers youth to become community-minded individuals through diverse programs that foster confidence, knowledge and leadership.

Programs: Leadership Programs - these programs focus specifically on building leadership skills of participants. These programs include leadership training, high school leadership program, junior high leadership program and watch my feet. The high school and junior high leadership program allows students to participate in a day-long leadership conference followed by group meetings to discuss and plan community service projects. Leadership training is offered to high school students that demonstrate the maturity and interest in furthering their leadership skills. These students are invited to participate in more advanced and intensive leadership training that will enable them to become leaders at programs and conferences for younger participants. Watch my feet is a unique performance group comprised of diverse high school students from four area high schools bringing the message of hope and leadership to other young people throughout the community.
Support Group Programs - these programs include mentoring, girls group and guys group. The mentoring program establishes a one-to-one relationship between a screened and trained adult volunteer and a child in need of additional adult contact, guidance and support. Girls group is a health education, peer support, and fitness centered program for high school girls. Guys group brings together high school boys to discuss topics of health education and build positive peer support through group discussion and activities.
After School Programs - these programs include the hangout after school program and after school tutoring program. After school programs are for all students in the area who are in the 1st - 6th grades. The hangout program allows young people to have the opportunity to participate in social and recreational activities with a focus on developing leadership skills. The tutoring program matches high school and adult volunteers with students to focus on homework completion and improving reading skills.
