Causes: Chambers of Commerce & Business Leagues
Mission: Develop, promote, and present programs of continuing education and professional development interest to cpas in the houston area. The foundation also has fundraising programs for endowments and charitable causes.
Programs: The houston tscpa foundation was organized in 1978 to provide continuing professional education for cpas in houston and throughout texas. Last year, 56 continuing professional education programs were offered and cpa participants earned almost 46,000 hours of continuing education hours.
the cpas helping schools program and endowment has benefitted hundreds of schools through cash grants and other support. Santa cpas gives books and treats to all children in houston independent school district's head start and early start programs.
the annual golf classic benefitted cpas helping schools and santa cpas.
