Causes: Human Service Organizations, Human Services
Mission: To provide strategic support and assistance to local organizations so they can more effectively carry out their own programs and services.
Results: Since 1911, Federated Charities has provided collaborative support and collective space to organizations who make up the safety net in our community. We are a hub for nonprofit resources and activities in the heart of Frederick and our support means that more than $250K every year stays in programs rather than spent on overhead.
Target demographics: local nonprofits with sustainability and strategic growth
Direct beneficiaries per year: 16 local community service agencies in our building and more than 35 other independent organizations.
