Mission: The Evolved Network provides experiential programming through culinary and gardening equipping youth in systemically oppressed communities with transformative healing, skills and support needed to evolve into masters of their unique gifts. The Evolved Network believes, with unconditional care through a holistic and therapeutic approach youth can experience foundational transformation through the creation of a farm to table dining experience. Results: IN 2023, THE EVOLVED NETWORK… …served 476 Chicago Youth. We’re creating and demanding more consistent touches with students. We no longer have to seek out spaces to conduct our programming thanks to ongoing partnerships; the demand is so great that we hope to add some help to our team in 2024. …held programming in 7 Chicago schools, including Chicago Jesuit Academy, Carnegie Elementary, Carter G. Woodson Elementary School, Wilma Rudolph Learning Center, Sarah E. Goode STEM Academy, The Sonia Shankman Orthogenic School, and The Montessori School of Englewood. …raised $53,000 through our Eat & Evolve 2023 event. That’s a $50,000 increase in earned revenue over the year prior! An evening filled with fellowship and food from Chicago’s most talented chefs resulted in a big takeaway for kids from underserved communities. …took our mission to the national stage on The Food Network’s “Chopped.” TEN Executive Director Chef Sebastian White competed in the famous mystery basket competition for a special Friendsgiving episode in November 2023.
